Your Georgia getaway begins
Arrive in Georgia and take your included airport-to-hotel transfer. Settle into your hotel and prepare for the journey ahead.
The arrival schedule and any free time depend on your confirmed flight and hotel check-in arrangements.
A private guided journey beyond Tbilisi
Explore Chronicles of Georgia, Jvari Monastery, Mtskheta Old Town, Zhinvali Reservoir, and Ananuri Fortress on your private van excursion.
The guided private van trip requires at least 6 participants. Planned departure is 8:30 AM, with hotel drop-off at approximately 4:00 PM.

Your private driver picks you up from your hotel lobby and heads toward the northern outskirts of Tbilisi.
9:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Walk around the massive stone columns and take pictures of the panoramic view overlooking the Tbilisi Sea.
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Cross the city perimeter highway toward the historic town of Mtskheta.
10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
Explore the church grounds and enjoy views over the meeting point of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.
10:45 AM – 11:00 AM
Head down the winding hill from Jvari into the center of Mtskheta.
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Visit the cathedral and stroll through the surrounding stone-paved streets, with an opportunity to sample local churchkhela.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Suggested stop: Salobie, near Mtskheta, for traditional lobio, mchadi cornbread, and khinkali. Lunch is not listed among the package inclusions.

Follow the Aragvi River north into the foothills of the Caucasus.

Pause at a roadside viewpoint to admire and photograph the turquoise mountain waters.

Continue along the reservoir shore to the next sightseeing stop.
2:05 PM – 2:50 PM
Explore the stone fortress and Assumption Church. Enjoy lake views and visit accessible areas of the complex, subject to local access.
2:50 PM – 4:00 PM
Travel south along the Georgian Military Highway back toward central Tbilisi.
4:00 PM
Arrive back at your hotel after your guided day trip.
